Thank you for your interest in my practice! I know that it can be hard to take that first step in getting help with issues like ADHD, depression, or anxiety and providing empathetic and high quality care to my patients is my top priority.
I am a graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. After medical school, I completed my four-year residency in psychiatry through the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt Program. After finishing training in 2006 , I worked as an emergency room psychiatrist and, more extensively, in private practice.
I help adults with concerns such as low mood, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, work stress, and parenting and relationship issues. I maintain a small practice to provide personalized and responsive care to my patients and would be happy to answer questions you have about beginning treatment. To learn more about starting treatment click here, and then call (410) 774-6187 if you'd like to set up a phone call to discuss an intake appointment.
Regarding insurance, I am an out-of-network provider. This means that patients submit payment at the time of service and are given a detailed statement suitable for submitting for partial reimbursement from their insurance company if they choose. The rate of reimbursement depends on each person's insurance plan, so please check with your insurance company for details. More information can be found here.
